I remember those days well. You killed the ball and it ended poorly

Those days, when you got on the wrong side of a ruck you took your life in your hands!

I counted 10 red cards by todays game standards

No hands on the ball, speedy re-cycling, no neck rolls, no head high tackling. At the cost of encouragement to get out of the way

Play that today and that spell would have had a 30 minute stoppage, 50 slow mo replays, 6 yellow card, 4 red cards and a disallowed try with several players going to the ref because their feelings are hurt.

The game when referees weren’t making it all about themselves @WayneBarnesRef @BillBeaumont Please find a place between then (almost no rules) and now.. (the referee is the 16man) the World Cup was a refereeing disaster 🙇🏻
