I can tell Ive played a match in similar conditions in Brno (Czechia) early feb. Its cold but once on the field only wingers suffer it😂😂😂😂

I played in 1985 so a little after this, but all the Swansea players in the clip were still playing when I join.

remember playing v Lampeter district U 15’s in Red Roses (A Jeff Harry Special) on a frosty Saturday morning for C’then district U 15’s on a field covered in frozen cow and sheep shit, that was harder than the A477! They had a dwarf playing full back! He was a handful fair play.

Glorious! An open field without a million dummy runners clogging up the midfield. Everyone knew their place and position and cards were something you got at Christmas. Miss this.
