I miss smash mouth football. No, seriously I miss it. Screw the challenges, replays and reviews. I still enjoy watching football but it just isn’t the same as it used to be. Remember Lawrence Taylor hits? We need more of that in todays NFL. “Illegal contact, down field.” “Roughing the passer” Come on now, this is football, not soccer.

After having gained an NFL playoff record 248 yards a week earlier, Eric Dickerson is limited to only 46 yards by #DaBears. The Rams offense totals just nine first downs and 130 net yards. As "Bear Weather" arrives in the fourth quarter, Richard Dent forces a fumble by Rams quarterback Dieter Brock. Wilber Marshall recovers it and travels 52 yards through the flurries for a touchdown.
