The playoff performance in 1985 is what vaulted that defense to legendary status. Statistically it was no better than 1984 or 1986.

That was a frustrating game - Saturday windy, sunny and bitter cold. jet D played very well, the Bears O didnt do much, but our O was stagnant. some bad calls too as I recall.

That team was must-see TV and credit to whomever scheduled them on so many MNF games BEFORE they were a national sensation. Didn't know they blitzed Wilbur and Otis from the same side. Genius! And all THREE LBs blitzing at once? Look out, motherfuckers!
