1985 Final Four starting lineups St. John’s vs Georgetown

Now that’s, College Basketball !! The Big East way!!

85’ GTown one of the Greatest Teams Ever to not win a Chip

Not a St Johns fan but I loved Walter Berry.

@CasualHoya Not only the golden era of the @BIGEAST but also for college basketball.

Frank Fallon was the nation version of Tom Carnegie. Right? @gregrakestraw @RichNye13

Mark Jackson should’ve been starting

All Tri-State area for St.Johns vs almost all DMV for Georgetown (except Ewing). Bring back hometown teams!

Memphis should have won, had they not fouled out Keith Lee with bull shit foul calls with his arms straight up.

@CasualHoya Nothing better

8 pros out of the 10?

Didn't half that Hoyas team go to Dunbar?

3 Big East teams in FF

@MikeSJUfan Great clip. The new heritage hoodies dropped by @slam_university are 🔥👇

@CourtsideClique

Amazing!

And people say that the kids are so much bigger now. That G'town team is a little bigger than the one today

Georgetown had SWAG. You seen that gear and shoes. That was 🔥🔥

I'd completely forgotten about Willie Glass. Dude had some ups.

Good lord I don’t remember watching this game but i know 8 of the 10 players. I remember watching the champ game and being crushed when Georgetown lost. I probably still have the bracket I filled out from the newspaper throughout the tournament

Wait, the last St Johns final four was in color?!?

One of the terrible semis🏀—-the January? game felt so very long ago🎤

This was when the Big East was the BIG EAST

Wow!!!!!!

The Redmen went 1-3 against the Hoyas in 1985, winning 1 by in Landover and by double digits at MSG and Rupp. Their only other loss was to @NiagaraMBB (@GuyAdami)

So stoked when Blazers drafted Walter Berry that didn’t last long. Big East was much watch TV. Let’s go Hoyas
