1987 was a great year.

Predator, Robocop and Lethal Weapon in the same year. The trilogy of movies you were probably too young to watch back then.

Strong contender for best film ever made. No joke. I watched it first when I was 11 and it's got better and better with every viewing.

I remember the first time I saw it on TV in the evening.

The group home -- Allancroft, unit Woodside -- in Beaconsfield [Montreal], QC brought us to see this in the theatre, same as with "RoboCop" (1987) and occasionally rent R-rated movies on VHS, but they wouldn't let us watch "The Benny Hill Show" (1955 - 1989) on TV...!
