Yes and then he signed NAFTA and kicked thousands of poor, single mothers off welfare and funneled them into dead-end "welfare to work" programs that left their children untended to. Oh, I almost forgot repealing New Deal legislation like Glass-Steagall. Cant fucking IMAGINE why working people + the poor don't trust Democrats. Oh, I almost forgot: the "working poor" basically7 describes all of us now.
Maybe this time they will stop voting against their best interests and we can get things done.
Only one “party” cares & will ever care about working people, it’s NOT the Trump cult or “this GOP.”
1. Remove the cap to fund Social Security for 30 years. 2. Expand ACA subsidies and eligibility. 3. Forgive student loans & pay for in-state tuition. 4. Raise taxes on rich to cover 2&3.
This is powerful because it still lands today Trust has been lost for many, and trust is not rebuilt with better slogans It is rebuilt through visible action, competence, honesty and results The people willing to do that work will become the leaders others choose to follow

It’s still insane to me that Washington wanted his head on a platter for an affair, but then today turn a blind eye to Trump and all of the Republicans running who have hit their wives, cheated massively on spouses, or have trafficked. Blows my mind.. 🤯
He had the needed majority and changed nothing significant.
It turns out the American people really did care about the idle rhetoric, because they swamped him in the 1994 midterms.
Clinton was as bad as Trump, only his corruption was less visible than Trump’s. All presidents since LBJ have served only the oligarchy, the bankers, the corporations, the MIC and Israel. Clinton passed NAFTA, killed the Glass-Steagall act and threw thousands off welfare.
What a dickhead. This was right before he pushed through NAFTA.
