1994 Grand National - Miinnehoma

First National winner i ever had, came from a system where they ran over two and a half miles to get them fit, ran ok in the Gold Cup and won the National. Great day! One of Freddie Starr's horse's with Martin Pipe.

Do you agree with our ranking? 👀

Was on the Rails with VC that week, normally in Linhope Street Office, never been wetter or colder in my life. Bar the National some great results from memory. Terry R was tilting at a lot of windmills over the three days, missed pretty much all of them....

One of my favourite nationals, not just for picking Miinehoma at 28-1 earlier on that week, but you had a mixture of top class horses, v good staying chasers and absolute no hopes. Now the race is marred by too many top owners and horses that'll never get in cos of their rating

What a spectacle of horse, rider and commentators 👏

The size of that Mobile Phone. #FeelingVeryOld
