1996 Frank Bunce's last minute try after Michael Brial's initial aggression Australia vs New Zealand Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Jim Fleming was the ref. He hated NZ. This was a sending off all day. Even back them. Brial was a complete cnut. Shit player to boot

That's a proper tackle on Lomu by Ben Tune!

I watched an interview with Frank Bunce last week and he said how it started and as you can probably imagine, he wasn't innocent in the whole episode.

Cullen nearly blew that with wilson un marked

No red card ! Proper man's game back then .

Lavaninni should Shine in this Time.

Mehrtens a thing of beauty!

I was at that game, absolute thriller with ABs running down the Wobblies once again. Remember the incident and immediately thinking 'payback' after Bunce had blindsided Brial with kidney shot earlier in the Super Rugby season. Old school Rugby!

I was there!! 12 years old! So good!!

Brial might’ve spent a little time in the bin for that one, if it was reffed today! Sometimes forget what a danger Mehrtens was! Awesome try!
