Sad to see one of the best turf tracks ruined by the aw dog track.

A great clip, that horse got me out of two huge scrapes, that day & in the Queens Vase.

Channel 4 briefly lost the rights for Newcastle race meetings to Sky Sports in 1998 but got the rights back the following year.

I was at that meeting, a friend had backed Windsor Castle @ 4/1 the week before but the ground went against the horse, it was hammering down 🌧️, still scooted up. Great memories. Thanks for sharing 🏇👍

Top Cees what a legend of a horse.. The Ramsdens and Mr Fallon... He also won at Cheltenham I believe. Backed heavily here.. Ground against it.. probably not meant to win ...
