Knicks have never played in the NBA finals not on NBC with this music. That was the reason for the long drought just ended.

The year that NBC picked up NBA again is the same year that both teams in that final have a rematch. This time, it’s more evenly split and NY Knicks are not too much of the underdogs as before.

@EricLBeats Weird year. No Pat at the end, the strike season, the mix of players, knowing we were going to get spanked by SA. Wish I had been more “all in” on that playoff run but I wasn’t, of course they had been so good for so long you never thought it would end.
