we are opening up our first robotics data lab in Malibu! in 9 months, our robotics department has grown from 0 to $100m ARR. this data lab is an effort to accelerate all the progress being made, with an increased focus on evaluating models with hardware. we are hiring robotics researchers, engineers, and teleoperators. please reach out if you are interested in training robots at the beach. 🏄‍♂️

Tarsus is an environment created for Virtual Production by Level Designer and Environment Artist Bibhab Raj Joshi. Based on a real-life landscape in Türkiye, the environment is 1:1 in scale. The arch, crafted by 3D Artist Seongmin Shin, is made to look as it may have in its prime and lighting is provided by 3D Lighting Artist Zhifan Wang. "The new voxel-based nanite foliage is significantly more optimized. There are 150k instances of trees in the scene, and it is running at 35-45 fps at 1440p on a laptop with a 4080" - Bibhab Raj Joshi

This is the first result from our new molecular biology lab, where a team of Anthropic biologists is using Claude to explore and accelerate fundamental biology research. There, Claude works through data and literature to generate hypotheses and candidate biological systems to study. After our scientists review Claude’s hypotheses, they test the most promising ideas, with all lab work done by our scientists. We’d like to extend this approach to a broad range of problems—in genomics and in other fields. If you have a proposal for a research question, we’d like to hear from you.

My lab has been working for the past 15 years to develop a method to isolate specific genomic loci to identify its chromatin composition & protein interactome. Finally,… our superb physician/scientist Dr. Bercin Cenik Bercin K Cenik did it and here it is Not only was she able to develop this method, which she calls TurboCAS, she was able to identify known & novel regulators of heat shock & Myc expression. Cannot wait to see what Bercin and TurboCAS will discover about the molecular basis of transcriptional regulation with great impact on clinic in the next few years! Northwestern BMG and SQE Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine Molecular Cell
