2 hours BEFORE the Montgomery Melee got started at the Riverfront, some sistas in Montgomery had a rootwork ceremony at the Riverfront where they fed flowers to the ancestors in the water.

That ancestral energy is no joke. 🕯️🪴

Now that does make sense when you give offerings to the ancestors of the river they take care of you we do that same thing every year the Second Sunday of June here in Philadelphia. Down the 20th and South Street in the black historical district

Montgomery is BIG on the Rootwork/HOODOO. That river is also where you place offerings or discard hexed items
