Always ready for whatever outdoors adventures! So quiet, calm, loving and obedient when indoors though. When he was 2y at his peak of energy, he would outrun German Shepards playing fetch! He's 6y now. Newton tore his ACL a few months ago and had TPLO surgery. Recovery was fine. ❤️

That, is amazing... Even with how very different their personalities are, am guessing they are very good doggie friends!

Like us, each pet has its own personality. It's something that only those who observe them attentively can see. Even some academic people I have noticed have a mistaken view on dogs' personalities. Some veterinarians I know claim that dogs' personalities are solely based on their breed, but with careful observation, we can see that each individual, even within the same breed, has its own unique mindset. For example, there are docile Pit Bulls and furious Saint Bernards(Against the common theory). It all comes down to the environment in which they were raised.

I know. I have a JR. But I also have a German Pointer, and that’s also a very active dog. But the Pointer is 14 years now, and is a little bit more chilled than it was before. Unless it sees birds, then it’s game on. 😂

I have both of those.
