Xavier Coates is expected to miss at least the next 12 weeks with Storm announcing he requires achilles surgery. Coates has been dealing with an achilles tendon issue since late in the 2025 season. Typically 12 weeks is too quick a recovery time to be a true structural repair surgery - sounds more likely to be an excision/clean-up procedure to get on top of a chronic issue (eg tendon debridement/bone spur removal)
