This is what childbirth does.” “Same, Lindsay.” #Lindsayclancy Many of these posts are tagged with #PPDawareness, pushing the narrative that women have always suffered like this in silence, and that this level of severe instability is just "how common suffering actually is." If this new "awareness" successfully convinces the world that motherhood is an inherently dangerous state that drives women to violent hair-trigger rage or total dysfunction, what does that mean for women? How do we keep children and society safe? Should every woman undergo mandatory psychiatric screening before becoming a mother? Should new mothers be barred from returning to work, or forbidden from serving as doctors, judges, or police officers if they take antidepressants? If women are painted as a demographic capable of snapping without warning and that this is widespread and previously hidden you are describing a group of people no society could safely trust with authority or responsibility. This isn't genuine advocacy, I doubt they care about Clancy or her kids, look how easily they harm their own. This is the aggressive protection of victimhood status. Many supporters of Lindsay Clancy are pushing so hard against the evidence because they are terrified of the alternative: a woman being held legally responsible rather than excused as a "victim of biology." The core premise of this radical ideology is that every woman is inherently capable of greatness, and if she fails or harms her child, she must be a helpless victim of her biology or society. Every woman is loving and if she isn’t- society is asking too much of her. Except this is what women are made to do. If your goal is to protect women's parental autonomy, you cannot take the normal stress and sacrifice we all experience as mothers and elevate it to postpartum rage, psychosis, and depression. Extreme postpartum conditions are just not as common as social media trends make them out to be, and sacrificing accountability to gain victimhood status for an imaginary collective identity - women- will do a lot of harm to your own cause and to everyone.

If you ask me, if a medicine is not to be given to some one below 4 years of age, permission should not be given in the first place for these drops. Cough can be because of a lot of congestion,bronchospasm, bronchiolitis, acid reflux, allergy or infection. It can be a habit cough, or due to inflammation of the throat or stress related. Address the underlying cause. Syrups available in India in the name of cough syrups contain either decongestants like phenylephrine (whose side effects are mostly due to overdosing or wrong dosing - increase in heart rate, increase in blood pressure, and arrhythmias), or anti allergy medications like chlorpheniramine and cetirizine (overdosing can cause sedation and respiratory depression- less with Levocetirizine, though), mucus breaking drugs like ambroxol and guaifenesin, bronchodilators like levosalbutamol and Terbutaline(overdosing can cause tremors, increased heart rate and arrhythmias) and cough suppressants like dextromethorphan and codeine(which can cause severe respiratory depression when overdosed). We should not suppress the cough, as it might even help in expelling the germs out. For every medicine there is a minimum age before which we can't give the medicine to the child, especially without the paediatricians's advice. For phenylephrine in India, it is now four years, though most guidelines say it is 2 years. For cetirizine, it is 6 months. In India the combination of Phenylephrine and Chlorpheniramine should not be used below 4 years of age. If a medicine is prescribed by a doctor, If the right dose is given by a mother for a right indication, problems usually don’t happen. The problem of overdosing happens when the parents go and buy over-the-counter medications, and give them randomly without knowing the doses. So, don’t buy the so called cough syrups on your own and decide to give them to the children. If they have a cough, paediatricians are there to address the underlying cause for cough and prescribe the treatment depending on the age group, symptoms, and the etiology. Stick to the doses, read expiry date. Doctors should write the prescriptions clearly, mention composition and tell the parents not to repeat the prescription, explain to them about dangers of wrong dosing, overdosing and repetition of prescription. First aid for cough mainly is compression with a warm cloth. In India many of them give steam directly. That is dangerous. If steam should be given, then the bathroom should be filled with the steam and the kid should be made to sit there.Don't give vicks,eucalyptus oil, Zindatilismath etc. In younger children they can cause seizures, and can worsen the cough and asthma symptoms. If the nose is blocked, put one to two drops of saline nose drops (from the pharmacies) in each nostril. If the cough is severe, the kid is vomiting or coughing continuously, consult the doctor. Drug regulators should avoid giving permission for drops and syrup with the same brand name, for unscientific combinations of medicines, for formulations with different components but the same brand name with a suffix or prefix. We need to have only a few standard brands or generic medicines with strong quality control. Form a panel of paediatricians for the same. Also, Terbutaline and Levosalbutamol shouldn't be part of the combinations. We have specific indications for these medicines. Safer route of administration for Levosalbutamol is using a nebulizer or MDI with or with out spacer, only if advised by the paediatrician when the child has bronchospasm. INFACT, AVOID COMBINATIONS! Sit down, ask these questions, and just listen: - When you say "socialism," do you mean that you want the government to pay for a bigger safety net like in Denmark, or that the government owns the means of production? Because those are two very different countries. - You say the system is rigged. Who rigged it? And who should be handed the power to un-rig it? - Who sets the price of bread? If not a single person or corporation, what causes that price to remain steady or go up? - Can you name a country where the state took ownership of the means of production and the poor got richer? - When borders open or the walls fall down, anywhere in the world, which direction do people run? Towards the free market system or the socialist system? And before the boundaries fell, which way were the guns pointed? - Would you rather be poor today, or rich in 1900? By the way, only one of those has antibiotics. - If you and I make a voluntary trade, and we both walk away happy, who got hurt? - Someone has to decide what your work is worth. Gwadar: Dr. MahRang Baloch, the central organizer of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), is holding a press conference at the Gwadar sit-in. The BYC believes that the state prefers the use of force over negotiations. Therefore, on the one hand, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Gwadar has been sent to negotiate with us, while on the other hand, the worst kind of force is being used. The use of state force and violence poses a threat to the lives of millions of people in Makuran, and the state is using even more force to escalate this threat. We clearly state to the state of Pakistan that if negotiations are to be held, the use of force and violence must be immediately stopped, and empowered representatives should be sent to negotiate. Our demands are as follows: 1. The FIR of the firing incidents in Mastung, Talar, Gwadar, Nushki, and Turbat, where protesters were martyred and injured by Frontier Corps (FC), should be registered against the Corps Commander. 2. The Home Department should immediately notify that no further use of force or violence by the state military will occur. 3. The Chief Minister and his cabinet should come to Gwadar and acknowledge in a press conference with us that the government of Balochistan is responsible for the damages caused during this entire period. They should admit that they attempted to crush this public peaceful program with violence and passed the order for the use of force. The government of Balochistan should condemn the loss of life and property. 4. All participants of the Baloch National Gathering who have been arrested or forcibly disappeared from peaceful gatherings and their homes should be immediately released, and all FIRs should be quashed. 5. The use of state force and violence poses a threat to the lives of millions of people in Makuran, and the state is using even more force to escalate this threat. We clearly state to the state of Pakistan that if negotiations are to be held, the use of force and violence must be immediately stopped, and empowered representatives should be sent to negotiate. Our demands are as follows: 1. The FIR of the firing incidents in Mastung, Talar, Gwadar, Nushki, and Turbat, where protesters were martyred and injured by Frontier Corps (FC), should be registered against the Corps Commander. 2. The Home Department should immediately notify that no further use of force or violence by the state military will occur. 3. The Chief Minister and his cabinet should come to Gwadar and acknowledge in a press conference with us that the government of Balochistan is responsible for the damages caused during this entire period. They should admit that they attempted to crush this public peaceful program with violence and passed the order for the use of force. The government of Balochistan should condemn the loss of life and property. 4. All participants of the Baloch National Gathering who have been arrested or forcibly disappeared from peaceful gatherings and their homes should be immediately released, and all FIRs should be quashed. 5. All roads should be reopened, the undeclared curfew in Makuran, including Gwadar, should be immediately lifted, the water supply in Gwadar should be restored, and internet services should be immediately restored across the region. 6. The Government of Pakistan should notify that no participant or helper of the Baloch National Gathering will be harassed, and no further FIR will be filed in this regard. Moreover, no unnecessary force will be used in any future peaceful program. 7. The government of Balochistan should compensate the general public for the financial damages caused by the state military and intelligence agencies during the Baloch National Gathering, including breaking into their homes, burning vehicles, or confiscating personal belongings. And later this week, FIRE will file a brief with the Supreme Court explaining the danger of “jawboning” — the use of government pressure to force social media platforms to censor protected speech. But the most chilling threat that the government poses in the context of emerging AI is regulatory overreach that limits its potential as a tool for contributing to human knowledge. A regulatory panic could result in a small number of Americans deciding for everyone else what speech, ideas, and even questions are permitted in the name of “safety” or “alignment.” I’ve dedicated my life to defending freedom of speech because it is an essential human right. However, free speech is more than that; it’s nothing less than essential to our ability to understand the world. A giant step for human progress was the realization that, despite what our senses tell us, knowledge is hard to attain. It's a never-ending, arduous, necessarily de-centralized process of testing and retesting, of chipping away at falsity to edge a bit closer to truth. It’s not just about the proverbial “marketplace of ideas”; it’s about allowing information—independent of idea or argument—to flow freely so that we can hope to know the world as it really is. This means seeing value in expression even when it appears to be wrongheaded or useless. This process has been aided by new technologies that have made communication easier. From the printing press, to the telegraph and radio, to phones and the internet: each one has accelerated the development of new knowledge by making it easier to share information. But AI offers even greater liberating potential, empowered by First Amendment principles, including freedom to code, academic freedom, and freedom of inquiry. We are on the threshold of a revolution in the creation and discovery of knowledge. AI’s potential is humbling; indeed, even frightening. But as the history of the printing press shows, attempts to put the genie back in the bottle will fail. Despite the profound disruption the printing press caused in Europe in the short term, the long-term contribution to art, science, and again, knowledge was without equal. Yes, we may have some fears about the proliferation of AI. But what those of us who care about civil liberties fear more is a government monopoly on advanced AI. Or, more likely, regulatory capture and a government-empowered oligopoly that privileges a handful of existing players. The end result of pushing too hard on AI regulation will be the concentration of AI influence in an even smaller number of hands. Far from reining in the government’s misuse of AI to censor, we will have created the framework not only to censor but also to dominate and distort the production of knowledge itself. “But why not just let OpenAI or a handful of existing AI engines dominate the space?” you may ask. Trust in expertise and in higher education—another important developer of knowledge—has plummeted in recent years, due largely to self-inflicted wounds borne of the ideological biases shared by much of the expert class. That same bias is often found baked into existing AI, and without competing AI models we may create a massive body of purported official facts that we can’t actually trust. We’ve seen on campus that attempts to regulate hate speech have led to absurd results like punishing people for simply reading about controversial topics like racism; similarly, AI programs flag or refuse to answer questions about prohibited topics. And, of course, the potential end result of America tying the hands of the greatest programmers in the world would be to lose our advantage to our most determined foreign adversaries. But with decentralized development and use of AI, we have a better chance of defeating our staunchest rivals or even Skynet or Big Brother. No non-Jewish person my age has a longer or clearer record of support for Israel, sympathy with the Jewish people, or opposition to antisemitism than I do. I regularly refer to antisemitism as a "lie from the pit of Hell," because it is. But I have to disagree with Amb. Friedman here. The First Amendment and our strict freedom of speech is one of America's greatest rights and sets us apart from every other country in the world. One of the central promises of Trump's 2024 campaign was to restore and protect American freedom of speech. Five years ago, our elites tried to destroy free speech in America in order to stop "racism." Immediately and predictably, stopping "racism" became a justification for wrecking our cities and wrecking the lives of people who did nothing wrong. Simultaneously, in the name of stopping "transphobia," they tried to make it impossible to dissent against the mutilation of children or radical gender propaganda in schools. The criminal witch hunts against President Trump by Fanni Willis and Jack Smith both tried to criminalize President Trump's speech, indicting him for making tweets or delivering speeches. Racism and antisemitism are both evil and must be opposed. But a government organized around jailing, impoverishing, or silencing people based on "racism" is what our enemies wanted. We should not repeat their mistakes just because some keffiyeh-wearing communists are protesting on campuses. If you don't like a person's opinion that doesn't mean they are an antisemite. But once "antisemitism" becomes valid grounds to censor or even imprison somebody, there will be frantic efforts to label all kinds of speech as antisemitic — the same way the left labeled all kinds of statements as "racist" to justify silencing their opposition. Not only that, but all of this won't even work: A legal crackdown won't make antisemitism go away. In the long run, it would make it worse! America's free speech tradition is our birthright. Racism and antisemitism are both evil and must be opposed. But a government organized around jailing, impoverishing, or silencing people based on "racism" is what our enemies wanted. We should not repeat their mistakes just because some keffiyeh-wearing communists are protesting on campuses. If you don't like a person's opinion that doesn't mean they are an antisemite. But once "antisemitism" becomes valid grounds to censor or even imprison somebody, there will be frantic efforts to label all kinds of speech as antisemitic — the same way the left labeled all kinds of statements as "racist" to justify silencing their opposition. Not only that, but all of this won't even work: A legal crackdown won't make antisemitism go away. In the long run, it would make it worse! America's free speech tradition is our birthright. We should never get rid of it.

WE DATE MEN THAT WE ACTUALLY LIKE! NOT MEN THAT WE NEED. 💋 This is a teachable moment for all women. Dating for love can look like many things. It doesn’t have to look like the “made up” instagram baddie standard that society has created where women are only dating for survival or in exchange for external things. Do not fall into the pressure of confirming to what your life should LOOK like. What’s important is how it FEELS. On social media everyone has their boundaries, morals and life together while watching and judging other. I have yet to see a HOW-TO BE PERFECT book from any of these women. You can date, and still be in the process of finding yourself! In fact, you will ALWAYS be in the process of finding yourself. This is a never ending journey. Just because someone is figuring their self out doesn’t mean they should be deprived of love, quality time or affection or physical touch. The amazing thing about my journey is that I did all the work on my own and I made it out alive! No one was there to save me, except for me! I had to really figure this out alone! And I did just that! And that’s something no one can ever take from me. For those of you who are exactly where I was, keep going!
