Introducing: Pulsar Scroll Accel At Pulsar, our focus is on creating esports equipment designed to empower pro gamers. No compromises: we won’t add unnecessary weight, complexity, or office/productivity features that don’t serve competitive gaming. Many in the community have requested an infinity scroll wheel on our mice. While one of the original inventors of the Infinity Wheel is part of our engineering team, we believe this feature doesn’t align with the needs of pro gaming. The added weight and mechanical complexity simply aren’t justified for high-level competitive play. Instead, we developed Scroll Accel—a firmware feature that makes any scroll wheel feel like an infinity wheel. Scroll slowly for precise, one-line increments, or spin quickly for ultra-fast scrolling. This feature will be turned off by default and can be turned on in our upcoming mice web drivers. (Including the #X2F) We’re always listening to the community and pro players to push innovation forward. Join the conversation at

Every young person in our community or others like it around the country deserves the same decent opportunities as kids who grow up in fancier suburbs. Big thanks to Ellen Fanning and the ABC News team for bringing the show to the Kingston Butter Factory in our local area and for the chance to join her on air, surrounded by friends, and talking about the work we do together in our neighbourhoods. Why is Rust different than many/most programming languages? Alice Ryhl works on Google's Android Rust team, is a Rust language team advisor, and is a core maintainer of Tokio (the most widely-used async runtime in Rust) Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 04:09 Tokio: an overview 05:11 What Alice likes about Rust 12:48 Rust for TypeScript engineers 13:51 Moving from C++ to Rust 14:34 Memory safety 18:12 Garbage collection tradeoffs 21:46 Ownership, references, and borrowing 26:59 Unsafe in Rust 31:21 Crates and Cargo 35:55 Language design and RFCs 43:02 Building new features 46:30 Editions vs. versions 49:47 Getting paid to work on Rust 51:27 Contributing to Rust 53:03 Rust in the Linux kernel 55:45 AI use cases for Rust 1:01:35 Learning Rust 1:03:54 Book recommendation Brought to you by: • Antithesis – verify your system’s correctness without human review or traditional integration tests – and avoid bugs or outages. • Sentry – application monitoring software considered “not bad” by millions of developers Three things worth knowing about Rust: 1. Rust was designed to turn implicit failures into compile errors. Where other languages allow you to forget something, Rust makes an omission into a compilation error for things like null checks, uninitialized variables, or error propagation with the ‘?’ character. If you mess something up, it’s almost certain your program will not compile. If it does, at the very least you should see a lint warning. 2. Refactoring in Rust is safe and easy, thanks to the compiler. Alice: “I change a return type or struct field, then just fix the compiler errors until the compiler stops shouting. And then once I’ve done that, I’ve updated every place I need to update.” Rust’s focus on correctness makes refactoring it more straightforward than dynamically-typed languages and Java-style typed ones are to refactor. 3. “Editions” allow Rust to make breaking changes without ‘breaking’ anyone’s code. Rust editions (2015, 2018, 2021, 2024) can be mixed freely across crates. A library on the 2021 edition works seamlessly with a binary on the 2024 edition. This is how Rust evolves syntax (like adding async/await as keywords) without forcing an ecosystem-wide migration. Thanks a lot, Alice for this great discussion! And for your work on Rust.

Here's a sneak peek of what we've been secretly working on the past few months! 🏆 Twitch is holding a TwitchRivals event on Roblox called Bloxfest! We developed the event hub with our RB Battles Games dev studio and we're hosting the finals live! There's 2 parts to this event: STREAMERS: Thousands of qualifying streamers have signed up to compete in the leaderboards for a chance to be drafted onto 1 of the 8 teams and compete in the grand finals, live for a massive $300k in prizes! ANYONE: Complete 4 badge quests and earn FREE limited UGC, back a team captain for a chance at another free limited item, and get TONS of new in-game drops throughout the event from many of your favorite games! We want to say thank you to Twitch for choosing RB Battles to help with this event. It's been a goal of ours for a long time to work alongside larger brands to help fund our studio for future events, and we're excited that not only are we achieving our goals but with something that perfectly aligns with what we do, gaming and competitions! If you've been a long time viewer, you know how important this is and how long we've been waiting for an opportunity like this, so we would really appreciate any support on this event such as liking and favoriting the event place or even just checking it out when it's released on February 12th 2026. HAVE FUN!!💜💚🩵

French president Emmanuel Macron is saying what everyone’s thinking: Europeans can't let a monster in a bunker in Moscow or a real estate tycoon on a golf course in Florida decide if Europe lives or dies. "As all the allies, we have to be the one to negotiate this new architecture of security for Europe the day after, because our geography will not change. We will live with Russia at the same place, and the Europeans at the same place. And I don’t want this negotiation to be organised by somebody else."

There’s a lot of reasons Netflix picked our company to feature in their docuseries…Not only are we the definitive destination for buying and selling sports picks, we are also the proud host of the BEST game day atmosphere you’ll find anywhere outside of a stadium. This wouldn’t be possible without the generous participation from all of our partners and of course, most importantly, our community of industry leading content creators. HUGE thank you to our World Cup Watch Weekend + Winible Series of Poker headline sponsor Onyx Odds ! Without partners like you these events wouldn’t be nearly as fun (or frequent)! Shoutout to Tilt Rips for giving away $10k+ worth of packs for the final table to rip, White Claw for keeping everyone hydrated, Prince Street Pizza for the 🍕and our celebrity guests phil_hellmuth Martin Kabrhel for keeping the vibes high! We can’t wait to host all of you back at the Winible HQ in Miami this September for week 1 of NFL football, stay tuned for more event details over the coming weeks 👀 And for everyone asking when we’re filming part 2 of the docuseries…you’ll just have to wait and see 🤐

Based on what I witnessed in the English Channel, I say with absolute conviction: enough is enough. What I saw was a direct assault on our sovereignty, our borders, and our way of life. This is no longer tolerable. The time for polite words is over, it is now time for action. In the coming weeks, I will be bringing together leading voices from the patriotic movement. We will sit down at the table, shoulder to shoulder, and forge a united plan to push back and push back hard. That plan includes deploying multiple boats in the English Channel and at the Port of Dover, combined with determined boots on the ground. What I saw was the final straw. This is our country, and we will defend it. I am calling on every patriot who loves Britain to stand with us as we launch the next phase of Operation Overboard with the Patriot Platform. Together we will reclaim our borders, restore order, and send a clear message: Britain belongs to the British people and we are taking it back. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧
