That group was one of our best - but the good ole media loved to start talking about the "December slide" and it became a mental roadblock for this franchise for years. This year was particularly brutal because we had multiple paths to lock up a playoff spot and blew it. Lost last 2 games close. NE game was particularly disgusting. We just had to win and we were up 24-13 in the 4th quarter and lost in OT.

The 2002 Season is still a sore subject with me. We were headed to the SB 6 games into the season, until Jay Fiedler broke his thumb & Ray Lucas came in and ruined everything. To this day, I believe in my heart, Ray Lucas was a "mole" sent by NYJ to ruin MIA's season that year.
