Absolutely blows my mind that there are people out there who think modern players are better than what we used to have. It’s not even close. The game has declined so much when it comes to talent. Everyone is now efficiency merchants.

We now have to deal with Gyokeres and Delap. We have very possibly seen the best of this game.

Then you can just go to the market and cop at least a 8/10 striker and he immediately solve your goal issues. Now you would scroll through teams and barely see striker to give you 20 league goals a season
