2016: “Learn to code” 2026: “Learn to weld” AI is not taking his job and he is making $100,000+ once he has some experience. AI is not going to replace plumbers, electricians, welders and many other trades.

This makes me laugh. Optimus will take those jobs easily. Give it some time. People seem to think AI will stay in a computer. No. It'll live inside a bot.

Bro, we use computer programmed 6 axis robotic lasers to weld.

Sure ... You not only lack intellect, but imagination if you for a second believe this bullshit.

Welder here. You dont make 6 figures welding unless youre some type of specialist or underwater welder.

Yes, but "private equity" is going after White American trade jobs to cut their wages and replace them with foreigners. The only way this is not going to happen is if White Americans organize for our interests against it. Do it or lose your ability to feed your family.

Really? Robots have been welding and taking welding jobs. No job is safe if a surgeon isn’t safe. Wth

The issue here is that AI + Robotics, within 5-10 years, will be doing these jobs. No career path is insulated from deflation in the value of the labor force. The question becomes: What do companies do when they lay off their workers, who are also their consumers?

Those may be the only jobs not replaced.

@BrigantiPhil Hey, you are really stupid if you don’t think machines can weld. They already do.

You have no idea what AI and robotics combined is going to do, do ya? These trades might have a greater buffer zone initially, but automation is coming for us all...

The matrix will need plumbers and Neurolink electricians.

Maybe in person service calls. AI is already in shops.

Or we could clear out the C-suites and reclaim the white-collar job sector that has always rightfully belonged to this country.

I dont understand this rhetoric. If ai takes a majority of white collar jobs. It will very quickly take blue collar jobs with robots.

Over 20% of construction enterprises in China, largely SOEs, are now using builder robots.

This audio probably made with ai. Unfortunately ai will replace all trades, hvac, welding, plumbing, electricians, all probably faster than they will with coding. Code requires exactness, the margin for error with plumbing and electrical is far wider than with coding.

lol. Welding was one of the first jobs taken on the assembly line man. Try again. Literally some of the first 1980s scaled robots.

At some point funding AI and maintaining robots will cost more than just hiring humans.
