2016 "Shin Godzilla"

Also, this is one of the greatest movie posters ever, full stop.

Most terrifying depiction of Godzilla. The music feels like genuine hopelessness and terror. The destructive and defensive capabilities of Shin G are incredible. I am so curious where the story would have gone with those ending humanoid Godzilla hybrids?? It could have got worse?

I’m starting to turn the corner from “WHY NO SEQUEL? WHY LET IT END?” to “It’s a perfect movie and a sequel wouldn’t be as good.”

PEAK!!!!!

This is legit the best scene in the entire franchise.

This scene best exemplifies the theme of nature rising to meet mankind’s strength because before they hit it with one of those bombs, and it gets the idea to have a ranged weapon

Expected no less from the creator of Evangelion?

I love how we technically have a villain song here breaking the 4th wall

Best godzilla scene ever

I remember seeing this for the first time, and simply thinking, “I’m pretty sure Godzilla has never been this terrifying.” Chills and goosebumps, every time

Mans said Payback time then got vaporized. Love it!

lives rent free in my mind.

One of the top all time Godzilla scenes

The goat of Godzilla imo, this and the original

dont think i'll ever get tired of people sharing this scene, it's just so good

King Kong vs Godzilla had nothing on this movie I'm sorry to say but they got a little whacky with it. The American filmmakers need to watch and closely match the tone and look of this movie more. Are they making another Shin Godzilla???

That last great Godzilla movie. So damned good!

The God of Destruction A rain of Flame True Terror in Body in spirit That is Godzilla, the kaiju king

Everything about this scene. EVERYTHING. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Love it

@Jizo_n o filme q consegue ser horrivel e bom ao msm tempo

The people that call this movie boring are delusional

Absolute masterpiece

The amount of putrid Anno ass lickers (or young people who clearly saw only saw 2-3 Godzilla movies including Shin in their life) in this thread is absolutely baffling.

The lasers out of his back my jaw completely dropped at the theater while seeing this.

i love that scene so much

One of my favorite Godzilla incarnations

Iconic

Still haven’t seen it

Still a great moment!

A masterpiece.
