I fled your city and moved the great free state of FL after living in Austin for almost 3 years. I lived in daily fear that if something ever happened to me in city limits, no help was coming. Hundreds of officers short to target, poor skills, no support for officers, no accountability for criminals who have charges dropped or reduced, catch and release and no cash bail along with the DA absolutely ruined what I understand used to be an amazing, flourishing city. You couldn’t pay me to go downtown! That’s what woke progressive policies bring you so enjoy the bed you made Austin!
