Schumer’s sudden amnesia on China proves what we’ve always known: Democrats talk tough on MSNBC but fold when it counts. Trump’s tariffs and the America First Investment Policy actually delivered—slamming Beijing’s predatory practices while fast-tracking allied investments in U.S. tech, infrastructure, and farmland. Unlike hollow rhetoric, Trump’s CFIUS reforms blocked Chinese acquisitions of critical assets and forced transparency in foreign deals. The result? Jobs stayed here, IP theft dropped, and Beijing’s influence ops hit a wall. Dems had 4 years to match that resolve. They didn’t.

Back in 2018, Schumer called Trump’s China tariffs “exactly right.” Now he pretends he never said it. Amazing what a camera and a D next to your name can do.

Like Biden, Chuckles is losing his memory. He loved the idea of tariffs.
