2020: the year the world stood still

Millions of lockdown deaths, hundreds of millions thrown into poverty, years of lost education, and trillions in wealth transferred to the richest, all for nothing—but all the clowns in this thread can do is admire how picturesque it was. Accomplices to the crime of the century.

Only now after it ended we can look back and realize the absurdities that happened. Not even mentioning the economic consequences we’re facing now because of that time…

Aside from all the bad stuff happening , I sorta miss this.

Billions of people hiding inside from a virus, as if it were a bushfire that would rage over them and they could emerge when it was safe. What a time to be alive. One of the most embarrassing moments in modern history.

Not going to lie, it was kinda peaceful at first. Drunk by 10am, government gave me money for doordash and told me not to work for a bit. Simpler times.

What an utter embarrassment.

Unfortunately this was my hometown in 2020 🙄

Took two trips to Florida that year and had a great time
