We have now fully commissioned the machine after a few hiccups related to an old dying hard drive in the machine PC (it had a 1 gb hard drive!!) could save the machine in the nick of time with the help of a fellow machining junkie who knew how to do it! But the real reason i am writing is that we successfully ran our first 3D program on it and that the program was written entirely using Claude !! I did it myself and it took me a few hours to get it going. The best part of using Claude was that I could ask it to use macros to write the program which meant i could control *all* variables in the program. And it ran like a charm! Rendered on the part a fine finish and a brilliant high to see the part come out better than expected! I set the job myself because I wanted to get a feel for the machine, its ways and how to work with it. It had been nearly 15 years since I had set a job on the machine for a VMC, and it felt good to know the craft has not left my hands and getting them dirty while making parts still makes me happy! Samaachar samaapth :)

Before that, I was pretty active on Ethereum since around 2020. So what made me switch to Solana ? It started when someone from my private group pointed out the potential of Solana, the speed, the low fees, and how early the ecosystem still felt at the time. Funny thing is, I actually heard about Solana when it was already at $80, but I didn’t really touch it until it hit around $100, and I started with 20 SOL as capital. It was sometime around February 2024 (don’t remember the exact date), when I first tried trading memecoins on Solana. Back then, wasn’t even popping yet, most devs were still launching manually. No fancy bots, no real token scanners, just pure risk. ( Correct me if I’m wrong about when first launched. ) Honestly, in the beginning, it was tough. New tokens popping up every second, rugs left and right, Solana was in hype mode, and everyone wanted to launch something. But by April, things started to click. I was finally making profits trading Solana coins, memecoins, lowcap utilities, all that. If I compare it to now, I’d say it was way easier back then to catch early entries. Not even exaggerating, 100x plays were way more common. I will put sneak peek of some of my PnL from my personal channel, Of course, it’s not as simple anymore with today’s market; Bundles everywhere, token farming systems, launch metas changing fast… Back then? It was cleaner. Simpler. Honestly, better. Through all this, I’ve always had one dream: To help people who are truly serious about learning the game. That’s why I started Bollish Research , a place for real ones to learn and grow in this space. From the very beginning of Bollish Academy until now, we’ve built the Bollish Research team through real work and honestly, quite a few people have been cut along the way. We gave these out to top Solana NFT communities and through the liveliness in the ecosystem, Phygitals was created. The initial user base was all Solana NFT collectors or traders and in that sense they have such a large user base, which makes it incredibly easy to build on."

three months ago we started building epoch. as an experiment and ended up winning the Solana privacy hackathon, which landed us a sponsored NS trip by Superteam to keep building epoch from there. after arriving, it was a real rollercoaster, and the last month was especially hard, which is why we've been quiet. still, we shipped. epoch is live on devnet (a private prediction market on solana powered by Arcium ☂️), picked up good traction, got submitted to colosseum, and recently got a mention in messari's solana q1 report. so from now on, i’ve decided to document epoch’s journey and build in public. all the ups and downs, nothing filtered, everything raw. here's ep 1. hope you enjoy.

MCP is mind-blowing. Here is a genius setup that will earn you a promotion with your manager. I have multiple data sources: data in S3, MySQL, and local files. Using Spice (an open-source project), I can co-locate all of that data behind a single SQL endpoint and augment it using MCP. Before, accessing data was slow, and I had to make multiple requests to get anything. After using Spice, I can query the data much faster (since it's mirrored locally), and I don't have to worry about where the data is coming from. Spice acts as an MCP server, so I can connect to it from my IDE or the Claude Desktop app and have access to all the data. But even more cool than that: Spice also acts as an MCP client, so it can connect to other MCP servers. This is where things get really interesting! Watch the video. I'm querying multiple data sources from my IDE and using the Google Maps MCP server for driving directions.

MCP is mind-blowing. Here is a genius setup that will earn you a promotion with your manager. I have multiple data sources: data in S3, MySQL, and local files. Using Spice (an open-source project), I can co-locate all of that data behind a single SQL endpoint and augment it using MCP. Before, accessing data was slow, and I had to make multiple requests to get anything. After using Spice, I can query the data much faster (since it's mirrored locally), and I don't have to worry about where the data is coming from. Spice acts as an MCP server, so I can connect to it from my IDE or the Claude Desktop app and have access to all the data. But even more cool than that: Spice also acts as an MCP client, so it can connect to other MCP servers. This is where things get really interesting! Watch the video.
