The Betrayal of Gaza by the Islamic World This is a very important message brothers. I urge everyone to read it: This past week, Gaza and Sudan have endured unimaginable horrors. I cannot fully recount them all due to their enormity and severity. Among these calamities: •Children and elderly have died in tents due to the cold. •Zionists harassed and assaulted nurses and patients at Kamal Adwan Hospital before burning and completely destroying it, arresting many doctors, patients, and the injured. •Northern Gaza has been almost entirely wiped out, with its children, elderly, and women buried under the rubble. •Stray dogs and cats are feeding on the remains of martyrs in the streets. •Prisoners are dying in Zionist jails from brutal torture. In truth, brothers, this is not only a test for Gaza but for all Muslims. The blessings that Allah grants us in this worldly life are trials, not rewards. He tests the poor with patience and the wealthy with gratitude. True wealth and poverty will only be revealed on the Day of Judgment. Allāh the Almighty said in the Holy Quran: [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving - [ Al-Mulk Chapter, verse 2 ] — Saheeh International translation And He the Almighty said: Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned. [ Al-Anbya Chapter, verse 35 ] — Saheeh International translation When you witness what happens to your brothers, know that this trial is upon us all. Allah will question us on the Day of Judgment about what we did to support our brothers. As a Muslim, it is your duty to aid them with whatever resources or abilities you have. After all you have seen, it is unbefitting for you to occupy yourself with worldly desires at the expense of supporting them, forgetting that it is Allah who has blessed you and protected you from the schemes of the enemies of Islam. Expressing gratitude for these blessings lies in obeying Allah, adhering to His commands, and using your time to seek knowledge and act upon it so you can be capable of supporting your brothers. We must understand that the weakness and betrayal the Muslim ummah exhibits toward their oppressed brothers worldwide stem from abandoning the learning and application of Allah’s Shari’ah. This neglect leads to the spread of ignorance, corruption, oppression, murder, destruction, theft, deceit, lies, hypocrisy, immorality, sexual deviance, and indecency. The list goes on. Allāh the Almighty said: “Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He [i.e., Allāh] may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness]. [ Ar-Rum Chapter, verse 41 ] — Saheeh International translation This weakness is the result of decades of ruling by other than what Allah has revealed, following desires, distorting the religion, idolizing rulers, diluting beliefs, falsifying truths, opposing reformers, and being preoccupied with trivial matters that divert believers from the truth. Let us not forget the cheap entertainment, deceitful media, and corrupt education systems used by the people of falsehood to brainwash minds. Finally, a wise believer must beware of becoming among those who share in the punishment Allah has promised for those who take their religion as amusement and distraction, deceived by worldly life while neglecting the Hereafter, accountability, and recompense. Allāh the Almighty said: And the companions of the Fire will call to the companions of Paradise, "Pour upon us some water or from whatever Allāh has provided you."
