I tried hard to separate Rap Monster from Kim Namjoon, until at some point I came to realise there wasn’t really any meaning in separating the two. But lately, I think I’ve been trying to separate them again. Because my work is my work. I mean, this might actually sound really naive, but RM & Kim Namjoon aren’t truly the same person. So I’m really trying to think of the two as separate again. To think of music as music & work as simply work. Either Riyadh accepts that the Houthis now control the chokepoint and cuts a deal, or it commits to a real ground war in Yemen, something the Saudis tried before with fairly miserable results.
