On an 8 Month deployment I did 165 days at sea with not even a glance at land, and ya it sucks as much as you would think. I wonder if they got their beer days.

Plenty of army units got stop-lossed into 18-month deployments during GWOT. I spent 11 months in a single tiny FOB with no outside communication access and a body armor requirement just to go outside and piss.

My son served on the Lincoln for 6 years. On 'family day' i saw a crate of hotdogs being loaded that were stamped 'Not fit for human consumption'. He said the only food on board that was safe from worms was mashed potatoes & that what he lived on during deployments.

They are working for someone else now,since the merge,who requires as many blood sacrifices to accomplish their goals. So sad.🍀🌎⛲️
