According to him, he met the young lady when she was three months pregnant. She allegedly told him that the man responsible for the pregnancy denied responsibility, and she had considered terminåt!ng it. He said he pleaded with her and convinced her to keep the baby. He explained that despite working as a block mould worker, he kept checking on her after work and made sure she had food and basic care throughout the pregnancy. Later, she informed him that her sister was struggling and asked if she could stay with them, which he agreed to. When the pregnancy reached eight months, he reportedly travelled to her village in Ebonyi State with family members to inform her parents of his intention to marry her.
