22 years ago, Play released 'Cinderella'

Finding out the cheetah girls didn’t write this song blows my mind

to me this fades to the background compared to the cameo that happens at the end of this clip LMAO

Agreed

😭

they actually got the original from the group i5 . Play then covered it and then the Cheetah Girls came after

Cheetah girls did it better

who else thought this was the original?

Letting the cheetah girls sing their song is probably the biggest regret they have in life

The way when I saw Solange I was like... ??? And then I saw Bey and it clicked and made sense.

this isn’t a cheetah girls original ??? either way it’s a timeless HIT

I used to LOVE Play when I was little. I’m so glad ppl acknowledge them as a girl group 🤩💖

For all the Cheetah Girls fans who love their version just keep in mind that their song features vocals from Jesse Powell’s sister, Trina who SAVED that song TBH.

Not them meeting Beyoncé

Kaywht’s remix is 🔥

Cheetah Girls did better.

A Play hit tweet in 2023?! Nice lol. I knew back then that Cinderella wasn’t an original song lol. Play was such an underrated girl group. They had some bops. Faye, the redhead, was such a good singer.

😭😆 >>>>>
