@thegwendalupe White folks don't make music like this no more. We all losing recipes and society is falling apart...
@thegwendalupe Still so confused about how a song about cheating/break up is a mainstay at white weddings nowadays
@thegwendalupe 1959 - "Shout" by the Isley Brothers 1981 - "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey 2003 - "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers 2025 - ?? which 2025 song will become a certified wedding reception banger to continue the sacred 22 year cycle?
@thegwendalupe Where did songs like this go to ? They ain't here anymore.
@thegwendalupe I took my daughter to see The Killers at Central Park Summer Stage in the early 2000s. She was 13 and we managed to get handed a couple of broken drumsticks at the stage, lol. Great show. Have loved them ever since.

@thegwendalupe Still is my ringtone lmao
@thegwendalupe Hot Fuss is a decent album. But what would have made it great is if Mr Brightside never existed and we were saved from its painful sub-mediocrity.
