OW had it's highest player counts not too long ago back in Feb of this year. If we're using that metric, it's currently IN a golden era. Here's hoping 6v6 stays a seperate, supported mode.

5v5 aint going anywhere

Bringing back 6v6 as core mode alone won't save ow, the game still lacks cinematics, good events, rewards needs an entire rework, it's just lootboxes all the time! Need to drop memorable/iconic heroes. Maybe a tv show & then.... We cn think abt entering the golden era.

6v6 isn’t going to help the fact that OW has the worst matchmaking system in gaming. Games will become more lop sided as 3 and 4 stacks have to deal with additional randoms.

Actually I think the opposite is true slightly, the issue with the game right now isn’t the match maker it’s the fact that the tank role has such an enormous impact on the game that even a slight gap there is nearly insurmountable in a lot of 1v1 situations

How will 2 tanks help that? It’s going to be even more lopsided with additional randoms that refuse to group or work with the team

Because if you aren’t on take you can individually win the match ups more Right now you legit cannot win the match up solo vs a tank on the OBJ you HAVE to have your supports or tank to stand a chance, with the more relative HP pools and nerfed tank skills you can playmake more even if there are more players

I actually like playing both. I think it's fine if they keep both. I love being in role queue because I'm a support main and then I'll go play 6v6 occasionally just to get better at filling if need be. And plus role queue is great to not deal with people that won't fill to help.
