Last week I booked a last-minute flight and stay in Cabo less than 12 hours to take-off because I was freezing my ass off at home, feeling like a “hostage” to the market. I forgot my swimming trunks and had to buy 2 of them for an eye-watering $450 USD (still wtf’ing at Grand Velas boutique)… And STILL, it was much cheaper than sitting around grinding it out when the market wasn’t there for me. Trading is one of the few professions where you can literally lose vacations/cars/houses etc AND, more importantly, TIME simultaneously while “working”. And so, I often think to myself if I’m so willing to part ways with my trading PNL, then why not just spend that on something tangible. I remember one of my biggest losing days in 2021, I decided to just buy the watch I wanted instead of waiting to feel “good” about my PNL. Our perspectives warp when we stare at numbers and desensitize ourselves to the true ups and downs. Whenever I spend the money it grounds me, “this is what this is worth”. Whenever I’m able to tip generously, especially in areas where the dollar goes farther, I feel more connected to my pursuit of trading for a living. Serendipitously making someone’s day with an outlier tip is one of my favorite things to do. Extremely hard working people who don’t get appreciated often, meanwhile we lose their salaries in pajamas… it’s madness. I just want to point out that I know people feel it, but don’t act on it. Try to exercise some of your freedoms as a trader and realize it’s okay to step away whenever you want and you don’t need permission to just do what you want when you want. You’ll probably come to so similar conclusions for yourself.

Scott and I took some time for a little self-care yesterday at J. Lynn Skin, and let’s just say—it was eye-opening! We both got laser treatments to improve our skin health. J. Lynn Skin used a machine to analyze the age of our skin, and let’s just say… we weren’t thrilled to find out that our skin is actually older than our real ages. Years of sun-worshipping and life’s wear and tear have definitely left their mark. I opted for the Moxi Laser—a more treatment designed to improve skin texture, repair sun damage (thanks to my younger self who thought sunscreen was optional), and reduce fine lines. It’s known for being a milder option with minimal discomfort and a recovery time of about 7-10 days. Scott went for the heavy-hitter! He got the TRL Laser Treatment around his eyes to target under-eye bags and deeper wrinkles, paired with the Moxi on the rest of his face to tackle stubborn sunspots. It’s a more intense treatment but perfect for deeper issues. His recovery is also about 7-10 days. Why are we sharing this? Because skin health is so much more than just looking good. It’s about feeling confident and taking care of ourselves from the inside out. And while we can’t turn back time, we can definitely help our skin age a little more gracefully. This was also a good reminder for us to protect our skin with sunblock, hats and sunglasses! We’re excited to see the results over the next week and will keep you posted on our progress. Huge thanks to J. Lynn Skin for helping us take this step towards healthier, more vibrant skin! Have you ever had a skin age analysis? Trust me, it’s eye-opening—and might just be the push you need to start prioritizing your skin health too! #SkinHealth #MoxiLaser #TRLLaser #AntiAging #SunDamageRepair #SelfCareJourney #JLynnSkin #LaserTreatment #AgingGracefully #CouplesThatGlowTogether

MAKE FASTING GREAT AGAIN ‼️ -Why? Because ONLY the crucified lamb of God and first love for HIM matters in this hour of history. ⚡JESUS is why we FAST Fasting is a sacred invitation to the mysteries of the Gospel In 99% of most churches & ministries #fasting is not part of the strategy. Simply stated…the church is NOT spiritual starving to the point of NOT eating. ⚡hours spent in His Holy Presence through prayer & Worship is not known to most modern church leaders. The theme of the #roaringtwentiesfast is #revivaloffirstlove 📖- Rev 2:4-5 Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. Fasting is about loving JESUS more. I am grateful for influential leaders in the body of Christ who are voices for fasting. Shane Idleman says fasting is “To choose the pain of discipline over the pain of regret” I agree‼️ Vlad Savchuk says "WE NEED TO FAST NOT JUST DURING CRISIS, BUT BECAUSE WE HAVE A CALLING UPON OUR LIVES." Again I agree ‼️ Jentezen Franklin says “For me, fasting has been the secret to obtaining open doors, miraculous provision, favor, and the tender touch of God upon my life.” ⚡-Co-sign Lou Engle asks the question “who will pay the price in fasting and prayer” 🤷‍♂️ Mike Signorelli, the pastor behind one of the top Christian films in America in 2023 #DominoRevival states… “I believe stepping into the discipline of fasting will help usher in your breakthrough. Fasting is a great place to start if you’re in a season of hardship and you feel like something needs to change or you need to increase your spiritual discipline” ⚡⚡🔥 FASTING saved Liberty University My friend Ryan Helfenbein is a major next gen leader who fasts. He is a VP at Liberty. The late Jerry Falwell in an interview about the 80 days of fasting that saved the school said “And the Lord impressed upon my heart in the summer of 1996 that it was time to do the unthinkable, that is, personally go on an absolute 40-day fast. From July 20 to the first of September, I fasted and prayed that 1997-1998 would be the year when Liberty’s debt burden was removed by God. So I fasted 40 days, July 20 through September 1. I saw mighty things beginning to happen, but I wasn’t really sure. In that first fast of 40 days, I kept asking God for money, but He impressed upon my heart that I needed to get close to Him, to listen to Him and to trust Him. When I asked for money, God told me not to ask for money, but to learn to know Him better. I had several lessons to learn before I could ask for money. As I ended that first 40-day fast, I felt I had learned what God wanted to teach me. But I didn’t have an answer about money. After resuming my normal diet for 25 days, God told me I could ask Him for money. So I went back on another 40-day fast that began September 25, 1996, ending on November 4. I broke the fast that evening. I had fasted for 80 days out of 105 days during the summer and fall.” 👉The result was miraculous and millions of dollars So as our Think Eternity team embarks on telling the story of fasting and being part of a 21 days fast starting January 8, 2024 we invite you to press into the secret place. Discover the beauty of Jesus through the power of a fasted life. Like the video from IHOPKC #ihopkc below during their 7 day fast this week…JESUS reigns above it ALL ‼️ Isaac Bennett Eric Volz @LennyLaGuardia

Shared from Dominique de Silva on Instagram 🙏😔 March 18th, 2021 is the day that I made a decision that flipped my entire world upside down. I’ve been EXTREMELY quiet about this decision and the adverse effects that it has caused me simply because I didn’t want to scare anyone out of making their own decision on receiving the vax.. With all this being said, I made the decision to get my vax before I left Las Vegas to move back to my home state of North Carolina because I wanted to play it safe and make sure those around me weren’t in harms way. I also do have underlying autoimmune issues which I have openly talked about for a while now. I’m not ashamed of why I received the vax because I know my heart was in a good place and my intentions were pure..and yet here I am struggling with adverse side effects from this life changing decision. Doctors have been pretty lost on what exactly is going on..running multiple tests, medical imaging and neurological exams coming back with no answers.. Here’s just a glimpse of what I’ve been dealing with- Symptoms that come and go: Dystonia Difficulty walking and weakness within the legs Dull aching & sharp shooting pains within the legs Vertigo Heart palpitations Lack of sensation throughout the body Cold sensation in the legs Pain behind the eyes Tremor in right hand Symptoms that are 24/7: Short term memory loss Trouble forming sentences Feeling out of body Depth perception is off Visual Changes Severe brain fog I am not sharing this post to scare anyone out of making their own decision, however I do believe that people must know exactly what the risks are. These stories shouldn’t be so hidden on social media platforms or the news and I’m done being so quiet about this.. If there is anyone out there that is experiencing something similar don’t be afraid to let your voice be heard. Please share!!! I can use all the insight and help I can get right now

We said goodbye to our beloved Odom last night as it was his time to go. To say I am devastated would be an understatement because that dog has saved my life more times than I could even begin to fathom. To be with him at the end of his amazing life was an honor I do not take for granted. Most of my days and routines over the last few years were centered around him and ensuring that he received what he needed. Whether it was receiving insulin for his diabetes at the same times every day or planning walks and meals to accommodate what worked best for him, my schedule revolved around what he needed. To some, this might seem like a nuisance. For me, it made me better. I made his routines my routines. Walking him twice a day gave me time to reflect and appreciate all of the good in my life. Planning time for his exercise ensured I did the same for myself. Being immediately anchored by his weight on a walk because he wanted to appreciate something he had noticed taught me to slow down and take in moments in a way I wasn’t used to. His routine was my routine, and it made me better. When I first saw him at the Edmonton Humane Society Society, I wasn’t ready for a dog. My brother Alec was there, and he saw me with Odom, and he knew that I was in love immediately. I didn’t find Odom, but Odom found me. I left, not taking him home and immediately knew it was a mistake, and that he was meant to be in my life. I went to the Edmonton Humane Society the next day, 30 minutes before it opened, to ensure that I would be the first person to go through the doors. I headed straight for where Odom was, and he came home with me that day. With all of the ups and downs I have had in my life since, my love and pride in that dog were a constant. I am terribly sad, and I am taking solace in this quote from Andrew Garfield on grief: “This is all the unexpressed love, the grief that will remain with us until we pass because we never get enough time with each other, no matter if someone lives till 60, 15, or 99.” I love that dog because that dog loved me. Bye Odom…You will always be my best friend.

PUBLIC CAUTION 🚨 "This is to alert the public about a girl who identifies herself as Audril Perkins, or Akos (suspected false name), who advertises online as a househelp/domestic worker. She was employed on Saturday, 17/01/2025, mainly to help care for and feed our two children, as my wife has been away for sometime. She came with a very small handbag with only few clothes in it, which was unusual for a live-in help. She also had very long hair, long nails, lashes, and inappropriate attire. I immediately made it clear that she would need to dress appropriately and remove the hair, nails, and lashes, which she obliged and did by the next morning. This made me lower my guard as I thought she was a good person who just needed some guidance, since she appears very young. She said she’s 19, completed SHS and from Kumasi, but in Accra to seek for a job. She’s squatting with a friend in east legon while on a job hunt. I requested that she comes along with a family/guarantor, and she said her Mom will accompany her but later claimed when she arrived that her mom was attending a funeral and would visit the coming weekend with her belongings. She provided a phone number for her mother (0596143081), but I called 3 days continuously but there was no answer. I asked her about it and she mentioned that her mom is forgetful sometimes and might have misplaced her phone but she would give me her sister’s contact instead, unfortunately I forget to follow up instantly. While she was here, she slept in the kids’ room alone, where my wife’s locked wardrobe, boxes, and a large luggage bag were kept. There is CCTV coverage throughout the house except inside that room. By Tuesday, 20/01/2026, I noticed suspicious behavior: She spent excessive time locked inside the room. She never “slept” with the lights off and She had to unlock the door from inside each time I called (I assumed perhaps she’s had some bad experience in the past which has prompted that, so I didn’t think much of it ) On Wednesday morning, 21/01/2026 I went to the kids room just to check around and I discovered my wife’s old clothes carefully hidden under and around the bed. When questioned, she gave an unconvincing explanation but the kids were getting late for school so I asked her to return the clothes to the bag she picked them and said we would discuss it after I return from dropping the kids at school. At this point she had only lived with me for only 4 days. By the time I returned, I found that she had broken into part of the wardrobe and fled, carrying my wife’s large luggage bag filled with, Clothes, Handbags, Perfumes, Cash, Jewelry, etc. The incident has been reported to the police, and shes captured on CCTV carrying the bag out, all relevant evidence have been submitted. She is advised to report herself and return all stolen items, as the matter is now with the Ghana Police Service. Anyone with relevant information about her whereabouts or identity is kindly urged to assist. Please share widely to help prevent others from falling victim."

Officially moving on from Tech game after I get this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!

❤️DO YOU REALLY KNOW KIM SEOKJIN? If you know more about him, read this❤️ Op introducing a comment found on Kian’s B& B YouTube It’s 2019 KBS Song Festival BTS Stages she ‘s talking about, and here’s the video clip of the jacket moment, watch SeokJin at the end of the clip! 🗣️ I am writing this comment because I want to record something I remember about SeokJin ☺️ In the winter of the year the pandemic hit, the last year-end before the pandemic, I was lucky enough to win a spot for the pre-recording of a year-end stage, and I spent almost 5 to 6 hours with BTS. What was even luckier was that my assigned spot was in top 10%, so I was quite close to the stage. That year, the time given to BTS for the year-end stage was over 30 minutes, it was like a mini concert. They did pre-recordings for several songs while changing the stage sets and also did rehearsal for the next day’s live broadcast, so I was able to watch them closely for a long time. And the one who left the strongest impression on me, even more than my bias, was SeokJin. When the PD-nim had messages or directions to convey to the members about the stage, or when he had something to discuss, he mostly communicated with SeokJin. And SeokJin took on the role of relaying all the messages to the other members. While managing the stage, if there were small details like, for example, if a jacket taken off during the performance was left there when it might get caught on camera and look messy, so make sure to throw it over to the back of the set, things like that. Jin relayed all those messages and directions to the members, and if there were members who couldn’t follow that direction, he quietly took care of small details behind the scenes, like quickly tossing away the jacket that was left behind when the camera was on other members. He was handling those little details behind the scene quietly alone with care, that was my impression. Even though he's the eldest, he's not the leader, not the main vocalist, nor the choreography leader, so when BTS is all together, I personally feel that the spotlight rarely shines on him. Also, since he's not the type of hyung who bosses around other members, saying, "I'm your senior," it’s probably not easy for SeokJin to leave a strong impression (*to casual viewers/general public) But the deeper you look into BTS, the more you see that SeokJin is a true gem, quietly working behind the scenes and taking good care of his younger members with a genuinely beautiful heart. While watching SeokJin for hours in moments that weren’t captured on camera, what I felt was that he’s truly sincere, attentive and meticulous, leading by examples with a strong sense of responsibility. And while taking care of everything like that, he’s not interested in taking credit for the things he did, he just quietly accomplished everything without drawing attention, his presence was like salt and light, I felt. I think this is why there are so many heartwarming stories about SeokJin in the entertainment industry. Seeing his good characters that I saw get recognized in detail through this variety show, and feeling like many people will come to appreciate his integrity, somehow it makes me feel really happy. #Jin #방탄소년단진 #진 방탄소년단
