25 years ago today, Dido released "Here with Me"

When I hear Dido, I think about Roswell. The original, not gaye version of course.

The Roswell theme tune

Dido was terrified her own voice would ruin her career. 🎙️ She originally wrote "Here With Me" for someone else to sing, but during the label meeting, everyone looked at her and said: "Why don't you record it yourself?". 😮 🤔 Fun Fact: Dido hated the first music video so much (a sepia-toned version filmed in 1999) that she requested a re-shoot in Toronto because she felt she looked "really bad" in the original version. Did you know? 🤯

And it suits perfectly with the scene in 'love actually'

Roswell theme song 🥰

Now I miss Roswell

If anyone in the mood to rewatch Roswell 1999 TV series, make sure you download fan edition DVD from well-known, you know what sites. Because the DVD release doesn't have many of the original songs. Without those songs, the show feels so different.

Looks like a young Nicola sturgeon from that still

The scene where this drop in Love Actually hits like crack

Pensar que hay gente que no se da cuenta que el video va perdiendo el color hasta quedar en absoluto blanco y negro... La parte sepia es mi favorita

Back in a day in the late 1990s up to early 2000s when real talent & real voice still exist ☝️☝️☝️
