25 years ago today, our nation was changed forever. We will never forget the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks and the families and loved ones who endured unimaginable loss. We honor the first responders and heroes who risked their lives to protect and save others. May God be near to all those forever impacted by that tragic day, and may God continue to bless this great nation.

Hey there, folks. About to go for a run here in Connecticut, and I realized today is the National Day of Prayer. I just want to say how glorious it is that we live in a country with a National Day of Prayer. It’s on our coins: “In God We Trust.” We have to understand that faith in the God of the Bible is central to who we are as a nation. It always has been. I write about that in the book Revolution. Next weekend, on May 17th, we are publicly rededicating the nation to God. I’ll be there, and I hope you will too. On this National Day of Prayer, take a moment to thank God that we live in a nation that acknowledges Him in this way. God bless you, and God bless America.

In the aftermath of 9/11, President George W. Bush asked my father Billy Graham to share a message of hope at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service in Washington, D.C. My father said, “…words simply cannot express the horror, the shock and the revulsion we all feel over what took place in this nation…Why does God allow evil like this to take place? Perhaps that is what you are asking. You may even be angry at God.
