I will miss watching him play in Roland Garros 🎾

I was barely paying attention to tennis and then I saw this young man leaping around a red clay tennis court. I was hooked. Taught myself how to score. Taped all of his matches. Scheduled vacations around his tournaments. Rushed home from church to watch his finals. Thanks Rafa

How I remember that day. Never heard of him. A friend told me she liked him. That’s when I started watching @RafaelNadal. Til then, it’s was only @rogerfederer on the radar. Soon to follow, @andy_murray, then @DjokerNole. Two decades of the best tennis ever.
