If you tip 25% in a restaurant for someone to walk the food to your table why wouldn’t you tip the same for someone to drive it to your house? Seems like a no brainer. Although I would like to see that number go back to 18-20% with passage of “no tax on tips”. More than 25% is excessive, if someone wants to tip more for great service that’s wonderful, but expecting more than a standard tip for standard service is arrogant. Overall people should factor in the tip as part of the total cost of the meal.
