Woke up still thinking about Jim Thwaites’ performance against City last night. Oozes class. Press-resistant, composed, and a real metronome in the middle of the park. His passing range is exceptional and he always seems to be a step ahead of everyone else on the pitch when the ball is on his left. Would love a debut before the season ends but early signs that pre-season could be very exciting.

Sturm on where Minten is in his growth in his first full pro season: "Sometimes it just takes time...I think he just has to grow. He's not a man yet, I think he's still a kid, and you can see it in his face. I think as soon as he gets a little bit bigger, I think then automatically he's going to get faster too. I think he has really good speed, and I think that's something he's going to get better at. Faceoffs, that's something we need him big time because he's going to kill for us, and we want him to be on power play too. "So there's a lot of little things I would say, but I'm not concerned, because the things you can't teach, he has it."

Amen has gotten the spotlight so far (and deservedly so), but real ones know Ausar Thompson isn’t far behind Ausar was one of my favorite comeback stories of last season There were questions about whether or not he’ll ever play again Now the only question is about how high his ceiling truly is, because the rate of growth last season was astronomical Some of the reads he makes as a ball handler make you think he has elite playmaking upside But we already know he’s a full-blown defensive stopper who’s also a contender for best athlete in the NBA (along with his brother) Now, with a full off-season ahead of him, Ausar is near the top of my lists for breakout players of the year

How do you see his development? 🗣️ Marco Asensio: Yes, in the end, when you go to Real Madrid there is always an adaptation period, and I think he has already gone through that. He is a very talented player, and I believe he has a very good progression ahead of him at Real Madrid. By getting those minutes and that consistency, he will continue to grow as a player. He is still young and can give a lot to Real Madrid. He is on the right path, playing good matches, and he is a player of great quality who will surely keep improving and contributing even more to Real Madrid. Welcome Thomas the Frank Engine To White Hart Dane 🇩🇰 I personally believe this is a great appointment for #Spurs There are despite his undoubted coaching talents question marks that he can operate under this level of scrutiny and can cope with European football and the EPL. I feel tho that given time this squad will progress tactically and individually over the next few months. I believe we will have more defensive structure yet still have a team with attacking threat that entertains and scores plenty of goals. I’m looking forward to a challenging season ahead. Thoughts ? #COYS 💙🤍

Chris Campos and his dad built a mound in his backyard and worked like crazy to master his slider last off-season, and, it absolutely worked. Campos is one of the most self-aware young pitchers I've seen pitch, and what I mean by that is he knows what makes him good, and he knows how to execute those sequences. He was the starting short stop at Saint Marys and didn't pitch much at all, so his ceiling is just now starting to grow. ++ athlete, which is very important, as we see with guys like River Ryan, live arm, and as stated before, he's just getting started as a pitcher. Campos has a similar backstory to Gavin Stone. He was told that he was too little to play D1 baseball, but he responded by going to a great baseball school and becoming an everyday player at a premier position. The Dodgers saw his arm talent, athletic ability, and ability to absorb and apply information, drafted him, and then converted him to a pitcher. Keep your eye on this guy, he's gonna continue to get better and better. #dodgers
