This was ours ,, from start to finish ( as it bloomed ) took almost a year .. The plant itself was 40+ years although the pant did die BUT the blooms left many babies throughout our yard & the neighbors ❤️

It’s AGAVE, folks! Native to Mexico…Once it blooms, the mother plant dies and the “pups” live on and repeat the process.

It’s Agave, it’s a Century Plant. I don’t know why they’re confusing people calling it Asparagus. It’s in the same family, but very different. Call it by its most commonly understood name.
