Just watched this wild Matt Walsh interview and I’m still cracking up This Republican councilman from Indiana, Ryan Webb, decides to “come out” as a trans lesbian woman of color. Same dude, no changes to his appearance, keeps the male pronouns, but suddenly he’s the first “LGBTQ+ woman of color” on the Delaware County Council. 6.8L V8 we are not worthy 🫪 No, that is not a typo. And get ready because there are more shocking numbers to come. If you weren't aware, Jensen International has been peacefully going about their business for a while making faithfully restomodded versions of their iconic Interceptor model. But now, it's time for a change. Starting here with the Jensen Interceptor GTX, a drastic change in direction for the company, but admittedly a pretty fun one. The GTX is a track-only, big-winged, stripped out racer with a bored out GM LT1 V8 under the hood. Displacement is up from 6.2 to 6.8 liters, with an additional 2.65L of supercharger stuck on top for a total of 950 horsepower. (Jensen claims it can develop 1,200 ponies if you really hate your tires) That power is sent through a carbon driveshaft to a rear transaxle, in this case a 6-speed sequential with straight-cut gears, but apparently a traditional automatic or H-pattern manual are not out of the question. Now you may be thinking, ok cool, will there be a road-going version? Well, not quite yet. Plans are laid out for a four-seat grand tourer, and a street-legal version of this GTX, but first priority is to use this track car to gauge overall interest, and to use it as a stepping stone for full-scale production. At the end of the day, this is still a very small group putting this whole thing together. Official pricing for the GTX has not been announced, but Jensen boss David Duerden suggests somewhere around £850,000 or roughly $1,145,000

We are heartbroken. You’ll remember young Rowan, who has been, for almost a year, growing his hair for Little Princess Trust and at the same time raising money for The NFRSA. The reason Rowan is doing the fundraiser is because his dad is a prison dog handler, and Murphy, his Dads prison dog (now retired), has been his best mate his whole life - and he knows first-hand how important our charity is. Well - tragically, this darling little boy is facing one of most difficult moments of his young life tomorrow, and the one every dog handler dreads. RPD Murphy has developed an aggressive tumour and despite everyone’s best efforts, he is no longer able to cope, or walk, and so his Dad and his wonderful retirement home Dad, James, who lives close to Rowan, have both realised it’s time to let him go with dignity. Rowan and his family went to visit Murphy yesterday to say goodbye, and they made this heartbreaking video. Rowan wanted you to know how much Murphy means to him - and how important his fundraiser is. It goes without saying we will support the family throughout, and we will do an NFRSA tribute to Murphy later - but tonight, this is entirely for Rowan and his family. Please would you think of Murphy tomorrow and send him a little prayer as he crosses gently over Rainbow Bridge, and if you could, send Rowan a donation for his fundraiser, because for an 8 year old boy, his efforts will mean even more to him now. Scott Belsky on the most common mistake founders make when building a product “Every product has what we call a ‘first-mile experience’, which is the part of your product that the most customers will see. And it’s all drop-off from there. What gets people through the first-mile experience? First, you have to empathize with where that customer is at — whether they’re a consumer or an enterprise customer, in the first 30 seconds of that first mile of your product, I guarantee you, they’re lazy, vain, and selfish. They want to get through it fast. They want to look good to their boss or their friends or feel good about themselves. There needs to be some quick hit of feeling successful in that first mile for them to engage further.” Ironically, the first-mile experience is the last thing many companies and product people will focus on. “Typically it’s the final mile before you launch where you’re like, ‘Oh wait, what should the onboarding be?’ or ‘What should the defaults be?’ That’s like a happenstance conversation towards the end of shipping when in fact that’s the only thing that every customer will ever see. So why not nail that?” Scott takes this point even further: “If you can really just nail the first-mile experience of your product — even if after that it’s all kind of crappy — you’re probably in the top 1% of products out there.” Another interesting point Scott makes here is that optimizing the first-mile experience is something that you’ll have to continually work on because your customers change over time. “Your first cohort of customers that used your product, those were early adopters — and your first-mile experience was nailed for them. Recently, on Chris Williamson's podcast, said it's "not true" that "there are only two sexes" in humans. He also claimed that "there are people with male brains in female bodies, and conversely." I'd like to address both claims directly to help clear up some confusion. THE SEX BINARY First, Eric used the terms “sex” and “gender” interchangeably, and when prompted to clarify he explicitly claimed sex (as well as gender) was not binary. He brought up people with intersex conditions as the reason why he believes this. But the existence of people with rare intersex conditions does not in any way negate the reality of the sex binary. That’s because the sex binary simply means “there are only two sexes,” and this is true because there are only two types of gametes. Males and females are universally defined by the gametes they have the function to produce, with males producing small gametes (sperm) and females producing large ones (ova). The sex binary does not mean “everyone is either male or female.” This may seem overly pedantic, bit it’s an important distinction. It may be possible that a person can be so sexually ambiguous as to defy categorization as either male or female, but sex ambiguity is not a third sex. The existence and prevalence of complex DSDs or so-called “intersex” conditions is irrelevant to the question of how many sexes there are. So, on this point, Eric is simply confused about what sexes are at a fundamental level. There are only two sexes because there are only two types of gametes—sperm and ova. I agree with Eric that we need to be compassionate and accommodating of people who might be sexually ambiguous. But claiming it’s “no true” that “there are only two sexes’ is definitely not the way to go about this. Apart from being incorrect, it carries a tremendous amount of baggage that I believe Eric and I would both agree must be avoided. BRAIN SEX Lastly, Eric said he believed it’s true that "there are people with male brains in female bodies, and conversely." Again, I believe this is rooted in a fundamental misunderstanding about what sexes are. Simply put, brains do not and cannot have their own sex that differs from the body. Whole organisms have a sex, individual organs do not. However, it is true that various body parts and organs can differ in the degree of how masculinized or feminized they are or appear. Hands are a great example of this, as their morphology is sensitive to in utero testosterone levels. As a result, some females have very masculine looking hands, and some males have very feminine looking hands. But no matter how masculine a female’s hands may be, it would never be correct to say that she has “male hands on a female body.” The same goes for brains and any other organ or appendage. While the brains of males and females can vary in the degree to which they are masculinized or feminized, it is never the case that a person can possess the brain of the opposite sex, even if they deeply feel that way. Eric, I’m a fan of yours and believe you possess tremendous insight on many topics, but I think you need to give this specific topic some more thought. 🤔Reminder: this is the same Harvey Levin whose team cheered when Charlie Kirk had been assassinated. Now he’s suddenly playing civil liberties lawyer for Don Lemon and listen closely to what he’s saying. “Democracy under attack.” “Dictator playbook.” “Assault on the First Amendment.” He’s mixing up three different things purposefully for his millions of followers: Your right to publish. Your right to gather news. Your right to physically enter someone else’s property. Only the first one is close to absolute. The First Amendment protects speech and the press. It does not give journalists a free pass to plan a disruption of a church service, storm a church, blatantly ignore instructions to leave, and stop parishioners who are praying just so you can interview them for content later. Don wasn’t just filming. He actively participated. A church is private property. “Open to the public” is conditional, not permanent consent. If you’re told to leave and you refuse, that’s trespass. so i’ve been seeing tweets about how liam sang the first line of wmyb and the last line of history and it’s gut wrenching. but i also wanted to expand on that, not so much to break our hearts, but to show - in numbers - how fucking amazing Liam has always been. this is how i’m choosing to deal with my grief… **as a disclaimer, this is NOT a dig at any of the other boys. i’m a ride or die ot5 so don’t try to play me. this is just a celebration of liam bc he deserves it. so not only was liam integral in forming 1d, but he was also a key factor for keeping them on xfactor. we have the receipts that liam was the first one chosen basically back in 2008 and the other 4 were chosen during that table discussion that was released last yr [tbh they were scouting for boys to form the band with liam before the 2010 season but that’s for another time] in the video below, you’ll see that liam soloed at the start of the song that got them through to the live shows [torn], and then he soloed at the start of every single song they sang on the xfactor. literally every single song! i didn’t think to do the math, but he also soloed at the end of a lot of them too. he was the anchor for the band at that time. then the albums started: up all night, take me home, midnight memories, four, and made in the am. and guess what? liam had the most solos [by 1 but the point is they didn’t decrease his solos to make room for the others]. here they are in the order of the albums [obviously zayn had to drop out of the race] Liam: 18, 19, 17, 16, 18 = 88 Harry: 18, 19, 16, 16, 18 = 87 Louis: 8, 20, 17, 16, 18 = 79 Niall: 8, 18, 17, 16, 18 = 77 Zayn: 18, 19, 16, 16 = 69 idk if the band or their team made sure to make the solos pretty equal after uan, but obviously it was the right move. so all i wanted to show was that without 14yo liam making it as far as he did in 2008 and sc seeing his potential [and his own potential for greed], one direction may never have been formed. and if it did form without liam, it would likely not have been the powerhouse that it was from the very beginning bc it would have been without its anchor.

Instagram & facebook content keeps getting pushed by the algorithm for weeks and months. older content keeps bringing in followers. older followers keep seeing new product videos. the whole thing snowballs. every piece of content you post increases the value of every previous piece. this is applicable to literally any industry. fitness, finance, dating, spirituality, ecom, info products, betting, whatever there are a few people running this right now who are not sharing a thing and it makes sense because this is a money printer... Every working parent’s nightmare: getting laid off while out on leave. Now imagine this happens to you, only you’re out on leave with your second set of twins. That’s exactly what happened to Aaron Francis and he joined me on Startup Dad to talk about it. He’s the co-founder of Try Hard Studios and makes incredible, developer-education videos. Mind-blowingly incredible. He’s also been an analyst, a developer and started his career as a Big 4 Accountant. I was set to go back to work on Friday and I got the call on a Wednesday. It was one of those moments where professionally it was the best time to go out on my own, but personally it was absolutely the worst time. Jaques Vallee describes his out of body experience and the being he encountered. he says he’s worked with an inventor in electrical tech that’s gone out of body numerous ways and that also friends within the Bigelow team had trouble getting back into their bodies during OBE’s Source -Engaging the Phenomenon 🔗 in comments JV -“I was taken out of my body, which II've never done, and instantly moved to the area where I was in the presence of this entity. And then my reaction was fear, terror, terror of being outside my body. Not so much terror of the entity. The entity itself wasn't terribly scary. I only perceived it for, certainly less than a minute. And then I was, I think my reaction was such that I was precipitated back into my body and I woke up shaking, crying, just completely, you know, reacting to it in fear, but more in fear that, you know, when people try to, and I've worked with a number of people who have gone out of their body, including some names in American electronic science that you would recognize, including a really great inventor of the technology we're using now, who went out of his body a number of ways and in fact, but always under, in, in relatively continuous conditions, not, not abrupt conditions. The way, the way it happened to me. So I was familiar with their experiences, the. I have no doubt about the reality of, of, of what happens. we don't exactly learn the conditions, as you may know, there are a number of books and people who actually teach how to do that. It's, it's dangerous because some people have described great difficulty in getting back into their body once they were floating around, including some of our friends within the Bigelow team. So those really need to be very structured in control. It's best to do it with someone else guiding you or being aware of, what happens to you. And for one thing, you know, making sure that during the experience, your body is safe. This was very abrupt. I'm not sure I want to do it again, but the, the nature of the entity is something that I continue to study and try to recall because it's relevant to what other people have said. So I want to use that as my guide into understanding what witnesses tell me and what at some point, you know, that, I mean, if, if you are a doctor, there are some experiments you have to do on your own body, you know, be before you can really understand what, what your patients are going through. as you know, I'm, I'm pretty tall. I'm over six foot tall. It was tall as I was, it was darker. This was obviously at, at night. It had, its back to a window, a a window that, you know, was looking at San Francisco at night, but the, essentially the outside was, was dark with some city lights. “I didn't get any structural details, you know, other than the, this was conscious and it had a sense of, you know, occupying the space for a, a reason. I mean, this was not just a, you know, like a piece of furniture”
