too much realism and “pro play” has ruined the game. since they removed good movement and explosive launches the new most effective way to win is by not dribbling at all and abusing game mechanics that are not logical at all. when people asked for realism they did not mean only have nba player animations in the game but for the game to make sense like 2k24 implementing the hand down man down contest system for example. trying to make the game realistic is killing the gameplay and now there is no variety even with a free builder system. #nba2k25 #nba2k26 Zach Timmerman Mike Wang Chris Manning 🏀 Evan Ronnie 2K 2K27

back when u could actually iso consistently in a comp scene while looking good and it took skill. and props to tyceno for guarding it with a 6’3 pure shot creator which also takes still. 2k25 has to be the worse gameplay out of any 2k. every wager on the 2s court i see this year is the exact same lineups and play style. 99 oboard with screens and middy fades with a terrible contest system and the builder allows u to make these builds with high steal and other op stats. need pie charts or archetypes back and good movement #NBA2K25 #nba2k26 Mike Wang Chris Manning 🏀

this is what a fighting spirit spot should look like. you can see kawada registering the damage and watch as he fights through the pain to get back to his feet. then kawada gets off some offense while clearly weakened before kobashi is able to blast him one time before going down from the offense kawada delivered. it's not just jumping up after a move with your fists balled and yelling "ahhhh!"

Too Many Contested Shots, Too Many Bail Outs Connecting With No Pass Acc. Hands Up Contest Being Inconsistent. and The Game Has No Blitz Steals rn. Would Love To See a Contest Improvement + Blitz Steals Be Improved, But We Know How 2k Updates Mess Other Things Up Unintentionally. If Its Gunna Do That Im Cool With How It Is Now. Ight so… Mike Wang the steals ARE there. Meaning in this first clip, Gold Glove and On Ball Menace pops up and it feels rewarding and what WE want. Glove triggers when you time the reach correctly and get the blitz/pluck. Now the clips following up are the SUPER OD steals which needs to be tuned down. The balance for 2K26 is if you can make it to where Glove is relevant like the first clip but can remove the OD collisions in the rest of the clips. I intentionally stopped pressing square to see if glove pops up, it didn’t. Last thing, this is my 99 steal lock. #NBA2K26
