The 1974 OIC Summit in Lahore marked a high point of Pan Islamic unity. Hosted by Z.A. Bhutto, it brought together leaders like King Faisal, Gaddafi, Yasser Arafat, & Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, leading to Pakistan’s recognition of Bangladesh & a united stance on Palestine.

Most overrated event in Pakistani history. Pakistan's staunchest ally and neighbour, the Shah of Iran, refused to visit Pakistan, just because of Bhutto's obsession with left wing Arab leaders.

That was a silly demand from Shah... Thats not how it works, I'm on Bhutto's side. Shah came in 1975 or 76.. I guess

It was the Shah who assisted Pakistan with cobra helis in Balochistan, soon after the Bangladesh crisis. In fact, the Arab nationalists such as the Iraqi Baathist administration, were supplying ammunition to separatists. Later Libyans, PLO and Syrians backed terrorism in 🇵🇰

Communist? I hardly see one .. Bhutto was a very mild socialist not communist. .. who else?

Sir , ppp founding fathers were communists. Bhutto became a symbol of communism/socialism policies. He became a dictator running all affairs of country single handedly. 1973 nationalization of businesses was worst step at a time when USSR became a big communist power.

He was barely a socialist, let alone communist.. kher tab bhi, there were 50 other leaders too, who weren't communists or socialists. So that sweeping comment isn't justified.
