2nd update was replacing the horizontal wire guides with a new motorized stator crab claw thing, and a gui to send machine codes over for a simulated winding routine (along with implementing the codes) - in a few days I should be pumping out wound stators not blisters

The claw mechanism is pretty straight forward, and a spring is attached between either sides. One mistake was not adding a bearing to constrain the shaft attached to the motor, it's a bit floppy

It has gone about a month longer than expected. Good thing, though, because I have nowhere to keep it. I need a factory STAT.

Just designed a new machine. It’s called a wire de-coiler. As the name suggests, it de-coils the wire to be fed into the machine. It works in tandem with our CNC machines. This is a bought out machine till now but we did the math and we can actually make it for roughly the price. Another machine to be made in-house soon!

In '82 and '83 I was on the road perfomring shows as a trio...just piano, bass, and drums. What started out to be just a few shows, turned into over 70. It was great to be back on stage with Ian Gardiner who was with me for so many years on the road and in the studio after I went solo.
