2. Your body doesn't know the difference between memory and reality. "Every time the person remembers the problem, they're producing the exact same chemistry in their brain and body as if the event was happening." (09:54)

This is neuroscientist Joe Dispenza. After spending 20 years researching how to rewire our brains... He just sat down with Steven Bartlett & revealed the science behind overcoming anxiety. Here are his 7 mind-blowing insights:

1. Most people think stress is unavoidable. But Dr. Joe revealed the shocking truth: "75 to 90% of every person that walks into a healthcare facility in the Western World walks in because of emotional or psychological stress." (57:15)

3. The heart is more powerful than most medical treatments. "When the heart gets coherent (we measure this)… it immediately informs the brain that the trauma is over. The heart tells the brain the past is over." (13:29)

4. Anxiety comes from our survival programming against the unknown. "Being in the present moment is being comfortable in the unknown... which goes against thousands of years of programming." (24:30)

5. Everyone thinks emotions control us, but Dr. Joe proved otherwise: "People think 'when I'm emotional, I can't control my emotions' and turns out you can regulate it, turns out you can shorten the response period from emotions." (57:34)

6. Meditation isn't about relaxation… It's about training awareness. "Every time you catch yourself going unconscious and become conscious, that's a victory." (23:59)

7. The most powerful change happens when you feel it before it occurs. "Don't wait for your wealth to feel abundant... teach your body emotionally what it feels like ahead of the actual experience." (34:00)

The truth about overcoming anxiety? It's not about avoiding stress. It's not about positive thinking. It's not about waiting for change. It's about breaking your addiction to negative emotions and training your body to feel differently before your reality changes.

These days, I’m obsessed with 2 things: 1. Freedom 2. Time My cleaning business allows for both because I built it as a lifestyle business.

And don’t get me wrong… I don’t think I’ll ever be 100% stress-free. But I’ll sure be using these insights from Dr. Dispenza to help me defeat my anxiety. The question is, will you?

That's the reason I stopped doing therapy on the 80s. It is suffering on and on. Freudian patients are never free of their therapists. I wonder why!
