Evan Tengesdahl told us this afternoon there was no discussion of Offensive lineman opting out of the Liberty Bowl. Stated the whole offensive line group wanted to play with hopes of sending Gavin Gerhardt out with one final victory. Gerhardt, a sixth year offensive lineman and three-time team caption is currently tied for the most starts at center in program history. Come January 2nd, he will watch his name into the record books. Really cool moment and story to hear the offensive lineman come together for one final time with hopes of sending Gerhardt off on top.
