On that last action (point over) it almost seemed as tho their 2-side automatics are to 45 cut. The 45 was already on his way as the ball handler came off the handoff

Houston is the #1 Scoring Defense in CBB the last 5 years & this year. #2: North Texas! No Middle Principles. They do a great job of ball pressure & forcing Baseline without blow by's. Any Post Catch/BL Drive, they take away Middle & trap with the Goalie. High Hands & Aggressive! They do a great job of "cracking back" on anyone at the rim and playing 2 on the Weak Side then rotating. P&R Defense: Weak in the Middle 1/3, Ice on the Sides. Under on DHO's then Ice on Re-Screen's. Bigs at the level and Guards dictate on the hip to 1. Not get screened & 2. Force them to the direction they want! North Texas is ELITE at one pass away swiping at the ball. Any dribble penetration they are going to swipe aggressive than get into the passing lane. They do a great job of using this to stop dribble penetration and get TO's on drives. Fun defense to watch. They fly around, play hard and are active at all times. I always talk about BAD corners ❌ This is a GREAT Corner ✅ 1. Tells the Cutman there is another cut to address 2. Calmly tells him it was a tight round, he had the bigger moment but can’t bank on that 3. Ice on chest and back 4. Gets eye contract from the fighter 5. Tell him what’s going wrong 6. Gives him actual technical advice on how to fix the issue without overwhelming him 7. Reiterates plan in more simple terms 8. Gives him even more simple secondary plan as a backup 9. More calm tone about being patient into the plan just laid out as to not panic fighter 10. Gets verbal responses from the fighter throughout the conversation 11. Gets pissed at Cutman for lack of vaseline in the cut

In the 3 years since I severely herniated a disc at L5/S1, I’ve tried everything under the sun to rehab and prevent reinjury. If I had to recommend just one exercise, it would be this one. It’s the single best exercise for strengthening the posterior chain and the intricate scaffold of muscles that support the spine. It’s a $100 piece of equipment (link in the comments below). Start with static holds and work your way up to 2 minutes. Then start moving as shown below and work your way up to 3 sets of 30. Then you can do more advanced things like added weight and one-leg static holds. A 3-minute deep squat each morning plus this exercise 2-3 times a week plus hanging knee lifts is a great basic back mobility program. If you want to go deeper, check out my full back program in the comments below.
