Such great memories of this game. Was in New York with Cindy. I left her at the Metropolitan Museum and I found a nearby neighborhood bar. Convinced the manager to switch a tv from soccer to this game after promising to bet the game with about 10 bar patrons who had been betting on the soccer match. Texas was getting points. Everyone in the bar bet on the Huskers. I actually made enough on the Longhorns to buy a nice Omega Seamaster watch at a jewelry/watch store near our hotel that same afternoon. I still have that Omega and some great memories.

I can recall exactly where I was when that game was on. It was awesome. Priest was amazing.

I was there for that one. Classic game.

I'll never forget James Brown telling the media a week before "why is Nebraska a 21 point favorite? For all you know we'll win by 21!"
