Same thing happened to VIBE, a Pletcher trainee (Repole owned), in the Met Mile. Next start was an AOC fully 2 months later (not to be claimed) where he finished next-to-last. I like this horse. Was glad to see quick action reviving him.

Grew up with England losing in heartbreaking fashion at major tournaments - West Germany in 1990, Germany in 96, Argentina in 98, Portugal in 2004 and 2006 - and often failing to progress to the semifinals. First Southgate and now Tuchel have brought consistency to the practice of going deep in competitions. We may not be exciting, but in Bellingham and Kane we have the players for the big moments. We should enjoy every second of it.

Playing pro basketball has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little kid. Being able to travel the world and get paid to play the past 5 years has truly been a remarkable experience. To get the opportunity to live in 7 countries, be immersed in different cultures, meet new people, and play basketball at a high level are memories I will always cherish. Since being back in the States in May, I have had a lot of time to reflect on what the next step is for me and my family. I got my Real Estate License in the summer with the intentions of just doing it in the off seasons, and then get into it full time when I was done playing. But when our daughter Rinnie was born in September, my mindset began to change. Having a family and being a father has always been a dream of mine too. And now that she is here, I look at life a lot differently. It has been amazing to be around family and friends and raise our daughter in our own home right here in our hometown in Illinois. On top of that, I have really been enjoying being a Real Estate Agent and adjusting to the new challenges that come along with it. I still love basketball, but I always knew there would come a time when I’d have to hang it up, and this feels like it for me. Being a father and a husband is the most important thing to me and that will always come first. Knowing that this is the best decision for us really gives me peace in walking away from a game that has been so good to me over my life. Thank you to basketball for giving me the life I had dreamed about since a child. Now, on to the next chapter of my life 👶🏼🏠🌾🇺🇸

This morning, I described how blessed it is to be a peacemaker and how peacemaking begins in the most basic place: in our hearts, then in homes and families. As we practice there, peacemaking will spread into our neighborhoods and communities. Peacemakers are sometimes labeled naive or weak from all sides. Yet, to be a peacemaker is not to be weak, but to be strong in a way the world may not understand.

What did I just stumble upon at Giza? 🤯 At first, I assumed these stones may be part of a modern installation. But the closer I looked, the more I began to suspect they may be ancient. The stones appear carefully aligned and run lengthwise through the ground. Could this be a boat pit similar to the Khufu solar boat pit, where massive stone blocks were stacked along its length? When I zoom in, however, these stones seem partially embedded in the earth. I considered whether it might be a quarry, but that doesn’t appear likely. Another possibility is some kind of ancient earthwork within a wadi. I’ve now asked several independent researchers, YouTubers I respect, Egyptologists, official Site inspectors, and contacts within the Egyptian authorities. So far, no one seems familiar with it. People are bracing for a winter storm so you know many of the stores are running scarce on necessities like toilet paper, milk and water. These two pulled up on the last few cases of water in the store knowing this might be the last few cases in the city. The woman asks him to put them in her cart, he never agreed but instead he takes them all for himself. She then tries to scold him for not giving it to her first. These two both have families to look after in this weather emergency, was he being selfish for taking them all, or was she being selfish thinking that she could have him do it for her knowing he needed some too?

I’ve decided I’m going to be stepping away from X. Further to my post the other day about leaving journalism, I’ve been thinking about what I want to do going forward, and I just don’t see much purpose in being on here at the moment. I may come back to X in the future, particularly if I decide to stay within the political field, take on a role within politics, or find myself in a position where I feel X requires my attention. But until then, I’m going to be leaving it. I think stepping away from X also connects with my issues with the media more broadly. X has obviously become a huge part of that world, and at this point I just don’t feel it offers me much, especially when I don’t currently have a clear path in mind for what I’m doing next. Update on Tractor Trev 🚜 It’s not been easy. Firstly he’s got sick again, today he had a fever and his eyes were swollen. It was vital we got him to the vets but as always he’s just so hard to move keeping in mind he doesn’t tolerate a harness and we have to be careful with his neck. We brought Chow again and it kind of worked 😅… for now Trev is back in the vets and having his fever treated and to just keep an eye on him. Send love 🙏🏻❤️

Update on Tractor Trev 🚜 It’s not been easy. Firstly he’s got sick again, today he had a fever and his eyes were swollen. It was vital we got him to the vets but as always he’s just so hard to move keeping in mind he doesn’t tolerate a harness and we have to be careful with his neck. We brought Chow again and it kind of worked 😅… for now Trev is back in the vets and having his fever treated and to just keep an eye on him. Send love 🙏🏻❤️

I guess we have to keep posting. We may not be able to stop Israel and the United States from exterminating all the Palestinians, but at least for now, it will be the most documented Holocaust in the history of mankind. And there is the hope that one day there will be justice.
