I enjoyed visiting the JAX District in Diriyah with my daughters, where we had the chance to meet several artists in their studios 🖼️ It was truly inspiring to witness their passion and creativity up close.✨👏🏽 We also explored the Art of Kingdom exhibition, which beautifully reflects the journey of Saudi art from symbolic heritage to a bold contemporary vision. Grateful to all those who continue to support and nurture these vibrant cultural spaces.

My first report from Omdurman looks at the energy and fuel crisis, and how a war far beyond Sudan’s borders is reshaping life here. We will continue our coverage from across the country with my colleagues at Al Jazeera English, telling its stories and human experiences, in the hope that this war will come to an end soon. This comes after nearly three years with Al Arabiya, where I began my journey covering the war in our country. It was a valuable experience that brought me together with dedicated colleagues and friends, through which we reported on reality and human stories from the ground.
