30 years ago today Buffalo debuted the goathead jerseys 🔥

Love these jerseys, absolute nostalgia and the modernized version they wear now as an alternate is fantastic. That being said, the blue and gold is arguably the greatest logo and jersey in all of sports.

Šatan and Hašek in the goat head was ICONIC.

Can we talk about how much better music was 30 years ago. What a song

I wish they could have upgraded the old Aud. Damn I miss that place.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was there that day and never seen this footage. I didn’t have a dad growing up and my Uncle Jimmy, who had season tickets brought me to this event. Brings back great memories. These uni’s hit so hard.

@Sabresbills92 Machine head should definitely be the current goal song

I was there man!!! Last time at the AUD as a kid!!!! Long Live the orange seats!!!!!

30 years ago today: Buffalo dropping those goathead jerseys Absolute classic

🔥🔥🔥

No a sabers fan but those jerseys were sick

I need the white Goatheads to make a comeback.

Nobody. Not even Bruins or Maple Leafs fans should be mad about the Sabres getting back to the dance. Buffalo fans, enjoy yourselves.

I got a Stu Barnes goathead jersey back then ..it's a lil tight now in the midsection lol .. pinkies up boys !

I was there, remember it well.

Hey boys does anyone need a driver cover???

I was there in person. It was awful. I bought a hat anyway because it was coming but I hated it. All these years later? LFG with this! I miss the Aud! This is the last time I was in it!

that's a buffalo head

loved the guys from that era

They still play machine head to this day on black and red nights, used to be right before the 1st but now when they come out with them in the 2nd or 3rd typically

They should absolutely bring those back next year

There is no way I am that old. I remember watching that ceremony.

The GOAT goalie wearing the goat heads.

I’m 36 and my baby sitter took us to see this

This isn't true I was there it was in summer not late April... No team introduces new uniforms in season ...none the less I arrived kinda late and had to sit in upper oranges was basically a sell out

If they debuted them again for playoffs it would be glorious

Chills

Machinehead always gets me fired up

@BuffaloGuyz 🤮 🐐

Hope they are able to wear them in the playoffs! Would be sick!

worse day in franchise history

You really didn’t want to F around with the Goat Head back in the 90s… #sabrehood

I was there! Up in the terrifying oranges lol

@CHurls13 Sorry, but I don't like the goat head jersey.

Fuckin’ rights!! LFG 🦬!
